A Micropile is a small-diameter (generally below 12 inches), drilled and grouted substitute pile that usually is bolstered. A micropile is produced by drilling a borehole, inserting reinforcement, and grouting the outlet. Micropiles can face up to axial and/or lateral masses, and will be considered a substitute for regular piles
